This pocket sized Paddle is made of hard wood, polished and finished with a red felt centre... this effect offers many applications and possibilities for Close Up, Corporate etc. A variety of small metal objects can be made to appear, vanish, multiply and re-appear. This is a paddle trick with a difference, Patrick Page's detailed Routine and Notes will show you how to amaze and astound your audience and with his surprise ending... you won't want to leave home without it!
A possible effect:
Show a paddle it to be blank on both sides. Now you place a washer on one side. The paddle is turned over to show that there is now another washer on the other side. Repeat this with a second and third washer. Now you can show on both sides 3 washers even though you only put 3 washers on the paddle. You can let the spectator hold it for a moment.
Now you remove one from one side. The washer from the other side also disappears! Repeat this also with the other two washers. Show the paddle now blank on both sides.
Give the paddle a shake and three washers appear on the paddle. Remove now these three washers. At this point it seems that the effect is over, but not yet!
Give the paddle another shake and a Euro bill (or any other bill) appears on the paddle. But on the other side also appeared one! You say “Let’s have one each” and remove the money from the paddle and place it in your pocket. Hand the paddle to the spectator and say “You can have the other one”, when he turns the paddle over he will find that the other paper money has vanished! |
