A card is signed and cut into the pack. A borrowed quarter is then wrapped in a piece of tissue paper, placed on the deck and touched with a lit match. The paper ignites with a dramatic flash and the borrowed quarter visibly burns down into the middle of the pack! When the smoke clears, the quarter is found resting at the bottom of a freshly burnt hole running down through the top half of the deck! When the spectator lifts away this destroyed upper half of the pack and turns over the unburnt card resting diretly beneath the still-warm-quarter, it is found to be the signed card! And the deck can be closely examined!
