This is a one person Bullet Catch effect. Shocking, astounding, unbelievable!
-No Gun
-No Assistant
-And No Switch is involved!
The magician displays a "live" bullet. He holds the flame of a cigarette lighter under the bullet and - BANG! - the bullet explodes, leaving the magician holding an empty shell casing. In the performer's mouth - clenched between his teeth - is the slug! A daring (but not dangerous) version of this famous, reputation-making feat.
The No Switch Bullet Catch is made from a 38 Special Nickel Plated Brass Shell and is larger than the 32 caliber shell used with Sparks' Catch 22 trick.
